Aqua Fitness is awesome! We offer fitness swims, assisted swims, and also have an underwater treadmill for rehabilitation and weight loss!
All sessions are monitored by our awesome aquatics staff for maximum fun, fitness, and safety! Each family has a private 30 minute session.
Doggie life jackets are provided if needed.
Fitness Swims are for dogs who are able to enter and exit water on their own. Dogs who already know how much fun the water is can come right in and bring a favorite toy! Owners spend thirty minutes in a relaxing atmosphere tossing toys from the poolside while their dog swims.
Assisted Swims are for dogs that need assistance entering and exiting the pool, or those who need a learn to swim program. Knowing how to swim is NOT an automatic skill for most dogs! Assisted swimming provides a controlled environment and hands on support for pre and post surgical dogs, senior dogs, weight management, arthritis, new swimmers, or any dog that needs a pal in the pool. Sessions are thirty minutes and our trained aquatic staff will be in the pool assisting to assure your dog’s safety and progression! If a dog masters independent swimming, their instructor can begin to transition them to independent Fitness Swims for their owner’s to schedule in the future!
Join our Canine Swim Club! You’ll get your Club Card and after 8 visits, your 9th swim will be FREE!

“The natural buoyancy of water reduces weight bearing stress, allowing the dog greater ease of movement with less strain on his bones, joints, and muscles. The viscosity and density of water creates even and fluid resistance in all directions, strengthening the dog’s muscles while allowing him to move with greater balance and efficiency. Hydrostatic pressure decreases swelling due to injuries or arthritis and improves proprioception. The warmth of the water relaxes muscles, dilates blood vessels, improves circulation and increasing blood flow to injured areas. All of these properties of water work together to create a healing environment in which to move.” (The Canine Fitness Institute LLC)
