We are an expansive practice with 11 veterinarians, multiple departments, and the constant desire to always provide a personal, pleasant, and efficient experience to our clients and their pets when they are visiting us. Front Desk & Phone Customer Service Representative
At Middletown Veterinary Hospital, every paw matters! We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionate Front Desk & Phone Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our clients, both in person and over the phone. This role is perfect for someone who loves animals, enjoys client interaction, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do:
Greet clients and pets warmly and provide excellent customer service.
Answer phones, respond to emails/texts, and manage client communications.
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments efficiently.
Process payments and maintain accurate client and patient records.
Support the hospital team and assist with basic operational tasks.
Provide guidance on routine pet care.

Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of pet healthcare and animal handling.

Veterinary Rehabilitation Specialist (Full-time)
Middletown Veterinary Hospital – Middletown, DE
At Middletown Veterinary Hospital, every paw matters. We’re expanding our Rehabilitation and Aqua Fitness Department and seeking a compassionate, skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to help pets recover mobility, reduce pain, and regain quality of life.
What You’ll Do:
Assess patients and develop individualized rehabilitation plans in collaboration with veterinarians
Administer therapy techniques including hydrotherapy, massage, exercise, laser, and ultrasound treatments
Operate and maintain aquatic equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness
Educate clients on at-home care and promote ongoing wellness programs
Maintain accurate treatment and progress records
What We’re Looking For:
Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) or equivalent experience
Rehab certification (CCRP/CCRVN) preferred — candidates actively pursuing certification encouraged to apply
Strong knowledge of anatomy, mobility, and therapy techniques
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Overnight Team Members-
Middletown Veterinary Hospital is looking for veterinary technicians and assistants to join our overnight team. You must be reliable, detail oriented, willing to learn, and of course love animals and be willing to hustle! We work together as a team and all positions must be ready to help others and be excellent team players and support each other to provide the absolute best care to our patients.
Overnight we offer a variety of different services such as emergency appointments, surgeries, care for our in patient hospitalized patients, X-ray, blood work, and more. Responsibilities also include checking clients in/out, answering phone calls, responding to emails, assisting the doctor, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Full time shifts typically run 8pm-8am any day based on a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays. We also have some swing shift coverage needed 6pm-2am or 8-midnight. There are options for either Part-time and Full-time shifts.
